Answers to our most frequently asked questions…
We are proud to be a pet-friendly property and welcome well-behaved pets of all sizes and breeds. There are no weight or breed restrictions. To help us maintain a clean and comfortable space for all guests, we ask that pets are properly groomed and that excessive shedding, damage, or cleaning needs beyond our standard turnover are avoided. Additional cleaning fees may apply if extra cleaning is required as well as a contract agreement. Guests are responsible for their pets at all times and must ensure they do not cause damage or disturbance. We reserve the right to decline or limit future bookings based on prior stay conditions.
Currently, we do not have any long-term openings available. We primarily offer short-term stays for our guests.
Unfortunately, our campground does not have a bathhouse facility. We recommend guests to plan accordingly and utilize the restroom facilities available within their own RVs.
The easiest way to book your stay with us is by using our online booking platform. Simply follow the booking link to secure your reservation.
Most certainly! Our campground is conveniently located near many nearby attractions perfect for day trips. Visit our Local Attractions page to view our top recommendations!
Yes, we have a convenient on-site coin operated laundry facility available for our guests to use during their stay. Quarters are available in the office.
Yes, we provide Wi-Fi access for our guests to stay connected during their stay. The network names are HMRVP 2G and HMRVP 5G. The “2G” network is configured so older devices can connect with minimal difficulty. The “5G” network is for modern, more cutting-edge devices. Both networks can potentially attain the same maximum speed and each one has a dedicated 1000Mbps symmetrical fiber feed. The 2G and 5G networks are multiband, so technical users may see devices connecting at either frequency, but only 5G supports Multi-Link Operation (MLO).
Our Wi-Fi network is designed for maximum guest security and as such, every device is assigned to an isolated connection. If you need to send data from one wireless device to another on the same network, you need to bring your own Wi-Fi Router capable of Wifi-as-WAN or run your own internet service such as a hotspot or Starlink. If you want a commercially available wireless router to connect to our network to install in your RV, something modern like a Peplink Max BR1 Pro 5G or a Unifi Travel Router is recommended. Alternatively, for longer stays, the office offers a limited supply of Unifi U6 Extenders that are configured for private guest networks.
Our campground offers a range of amenities including swimming, fishing, picnic areas and more! We also have a coin laundry located in the small cabin next to #47, with 2 commercial washers and dryers.
Yes, reservations can be canceled or modified as per our cancellation policy. Please refer to our Reservation and Cancellation Policy for details.
Yes, we allow campfires in designated fire pits. Please ensure to follow our campground’s fire safety guidelines. If you are arriving during fire season, please check in with the office or at the TN.gov Burn Ban page for restrictions. Fire Pits are for burning firewood ONLY.
You may only burn locally sourced wood such as from the campground stockpile or from local firewood providers (such as Knockout Firewood). Imported firewood is ILLEGAL to bring into Tennessee. The only exception is if the wood is stamped and certified to be heat treated to specific standards. Wood sourced from other regions of TN may be used but you may be asked to prove the source.
Check-in time can be as early as Noon, and check-out time is 11 AM for departing campers. Early check-ins and late check-outs may be available upon request.
Yes, every site is Full Hookup with Water, Sewer, 50A, 30A, 20A. Each pedestal has dedicated, metered 100A service, if you require multiple power sources. Water source is from a well and then treated to Tennessee state standards (tested + certified multiple times a year) but this does not include softeners or extra filtration. It is recommended to bring your own filtration and softening system for your RV. Water pressure is set to 55PSI but due to elevation differences in the park this may fluctuate somewhat, so having a pressure regulator is recommended. Sewer uses septic systems, so please do not bring harsh cleaning chemicals like bleach or phosphorous (some laundry detergents) into the park. Similarly, do not flush any non-paper wipes (both the flushable and non flushable kinds) down the drain, the system is not capable of processing them.
No, the use of our Pool and Pond is included with your RV lot rental. So make sure not to forget your swimming suits and fishing poles! If you need a pole, the Deli has a small stock available for purchase (no returns on used poles).
We welcome RVs and campers of all ages to our campground. Whether you have a vintage or modern vehicle, you’re welcome to stay with us. Your RV must have the equivalent of a full bathroom inside, as the park does not have public facilities. Custom built vehicles are also permitted as long as they are in good mechanical condition and meet the above restriction.
Yes of course, if you can find a flat area that works for you be our guest! Just make sure to stay on your designated lot without encroaching on another. Also keep in mind that our park is home to a somewhat high number of black bears, both adult and cubs, so do not EVER have food or trash in or on your tent! They can smell food even in sealed containers and will tear the tent apart to find it… or you!
Sorry no, there is not a public dump station. Our guests do however have full-hookups including sewer at each campsite.
Sorry no, the closest stop would be Walden’s Creek Rd off of 321 which is about 7 miles from us.
Townsend is not the best route for campers. Unless you are comfortable with narrow roads and switchbacks it would be best to come though Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Townsend also has a weight restricted bridge on 321 (12T/20T) that will preclude many heavier RVs.
